About Us

Welcome to Caston Hardware (castonhardware.com), an independent British online ironmongery merchant bringing solid brass cabinet hardware, architectural door handles, heavy-duty shelf brackets, and precision fixing kits directly to homeowners, interior designers, and tradespeople across the United Kingdom.

Our London Design Roots on Grove Vale

Our practical commercial story took shape along Grove Vale in East Dulwich, South London (operating our operational headquarters from Number 21). Trading as Caston Hardware, our brand draws continuous inspiration from London's rich architectural heritage: from classic Victorian terrace restorations and Edwardian townhouses to sleek, minimalist urban loft refurbishments.

We believe that architectural hardware is the tactile jewelry of a home. Every time you open a kitchen cupboard, turn a solid brass door handle, or hang a heavy winter coat on a cast-iron wall hook, you feel the tangible difference between cheap hollow zinc alloys and authentic, precision-engineered metalwork. Too often, home renovators must choose between flimsy mass-market hardware that tarnishes and strips within months, or luxury designer showrooms with inflated prices and confusing trade lead times.

The Launch of Our Dedicated Online Ironmongery Store

To provide British households and renovators with direct access to solid, dependable architectural hardware without trade-counter markups, we established our official direct-to-consumer online platform—castonhardware.com. While proud of our South London operational foundations, this website functions as our independent digital storefront. Every single piece in our digital catalogue is 100% brand-new, factory-finished, and curated across five specialized architectural categories:

• Cabinet Knobs & Pulls: Solid turned brass T-bars, knurled drawer pulls, reeded cabinet knobs, and cup handles in unlacquered brass, antique bronze, and matte black.
• Door Handles & Hardware: Sprung interior door lever handles on rose, mortice latches, bathroom thumb-turns, and heavy-duty architectural ball-bearing butt hinges.
• Shelf Brackets: Industrial forged-iron lip brackets, heavy-gauge steel floating shelf supports, and decorative Victorian scroll brackets built for heavy book storage.
• Hooks & Wall Storage: Coat rack hooks, double robe hooks, and entryway storage hardware engineered to hold heavy outerwear securely.
• Fixings & Hardware Kits: High-tensile stainless steel countersunk screws, masonry wall plugs, threaded connecting bolts, and complete mounting kits.
